Bobby (Bobby Bike) Fisher –
Bobby (Robert Dale) Fisher, born May 10, 1937, passed away April 19, 2016 at the Crestview Manor Nursing Home.
Bobby is survived by his brothers, Alan (Nancy) and Mike, sisters Beckie and Debbie; nieces, Lori (Kenneth) Edmonds and Lindsey Fisher, great nieces, Annabelle, Maggie, Sarah, and Betsy and cousin Randy Matheny. He was preceded in death by parents Ralph and Leolia, grandmother, Alice (Archie) Fisher, grandparents, Homer and Twila Roush, aunts Marie Graybill, and Louise (Robert) Matheny.
Bob was known and loved by many people around Lancaster and Sugar Grove. Past member of the Berne Union Marching Band may remember him as ‘Bobby Bike’. He helped the band in any way possible and loved to see the band perform.
Bobby liked hanging out with his roommates at a wonderful group home run by Richard and Shirley Campbell, their daughters Tracey Wright and Michelle Cooperider, and their families. Bob’s family wants to extend a special thank you to Brenda Shook, a very special care giver.
Bobby enjoyed scary movies, westerns, big-time wrestling and having fun with his friends at Fairfield Industries.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at the Lancaster Vineyard Church, 431 Wiley Rd, Lancaster Ohio 43130 on his birthday, Tuesday, May 10th. Fellowship and visiting will begin at 6pm, with a memorial service starting at 7pm, followed by refreshments afterwards. Pastor Joel Seymour will be officiating. Arrangements were handled by the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Lancaster, OH.
