Billy Ferman Cline, Jr. 71 of Lancaster, Ohio formerly of Jackson, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Pickering House. He was born on March 14, 1953 in Kansas to the late Billy and Barbara Cline.
He was a retired supervisor for Buckeye Steel Castings with 40 years of service. Billy was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler. He loved the Cincinnati Bengals football team, metal detecting, coin collecting and a Civil War history buff.
Billy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathy; children, Kathy Miller, Colin (Angel) Cline, and Melinda Lewis all of Lancaster, Paula (Todd) Rettig of Napoleon, Angela (Henry “Boo” Filio and Heather (Randy) Johnson, Jr. all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Alexa, Will, Cayley, Carter, Palmer, Jackson, Jacob, Brooklynn, Nicole, Dominick, Julieanna, Blake, Madison, Cooper, Aubrey, Brady, Keala, Shyanne, Kyle, Jacob, and Justin; great-grandchildren, Krew, Cade and Lyla; brothers, Ronnie Cline and Tim Cline both of Jackson; sisters, Alice Reed Harris of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Sherry Wyatt of Jackson and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Shirley Cline who raised him and parents, Billy and Barbara Cline, Sr.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, LANCASTER, OH 43130 with Pastor Konan Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday.
