Bill Nutter

Bill W. Nutter 89 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at Chillicothe VA medical Center. He was a World War II US Navy veteran and a retired agent for Conrail Railroad. He was a former member of the American Legion Post 11, F.O.E. Aries 2120, AMVETS, loved horses and the race track.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Franki Nutter of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Don Nutter; sister, Gretta; nephew, Keith Nutter and family, niece, Donna Miller; great niece, Jean Ann Vickroy and family and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Florence Nutter, ex-wife, Mary Rose Nutter, sister, Jeanette, best friends, Kenny Westenhouser and George Daniel Schrenk.
Funeral service will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Craig Cessna officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster with the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail to conduct military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit 2 hours prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
