Betty Weaver

Betty Ann (McLaughlin) Weaver, age 96 of Rushville, died July 11, 2018 at Country Lane Gardens. She was born in Lancaster, on April 1, 1922 to the late Clint and Dorothy (Ortman) McLaughlin. She graduated from the Lancaster School of Nursing and was a Surgical Supervisor for the Cleveland Clinic and retired from UPS. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Lynn Weaver; siblings, Wanda Reed and Imogene (Dean) McCullough; sister-in-law Mary McLaughlin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband John H. Weaver; son, Don Allen Weaver; siblings Charles Eugene McLaughlin, Ester Wolf, and Wayne McLaughlin.

A service will take place on Saturday at 1:30PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 11:30AM until the time of service on Saturday.
