Betty Pierson

Betty L. Pierson, 81, of Sugar Grove passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at her home Misty Valley Farm.

She was born September 7, 1931, in Junction City to the late Harold and Florence (Hynus) Griffith. She was a 1949 graduate of Gahanna-Lincoln High School and retired from BankOne in Reynoldsburg. She was a member of Friends of the Park and a Twig 12 volunteer for many years.

Betty is survived by her children, Steve Pierson, Guy Pierson, and Connie (Forde) Downour; grandchildren, Kyle Cox, Dan Pierson, and Andy Pierson; great grandchildren, Addicyn, Harmony, and Waylon Cox; and sister, Norma Jean Gyure.

Preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 2001; parents; and brothers, Robert A. Griffith and Harold F. Griffith.
