Betty Gordon Mansfield 87 of Johnstown, Ohio formerly of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at The Garden at New Albany Care Center.
She was born July 3, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Floyd and Nellie Gordon. She
She was a retired accountant for the IRS. And a member of the Lancaster Seventh-day Adventist Church, former Maywood Mission Board member and volunteer at the Good Neighbor Thrift Store.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Arlene Primmer and Pauline Colvin both of Columbus, Ohio; aunt and uncle, Grace and Charles Englehart of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Carol Schoonover, Cheryl Colvin, Gayle Snyder, Anne Hatem, Debbie Weathers, Sherry Balsimo, Ricky Gordon, Randy Gordon, Ronnie Gordon, Ken (Rhonda) Colvin, Tim Gordon, Jim Gordon, Dan Gordon, Carey Gordon and Stewart Gordon; several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Kenneth Eugene Gordon, Jack Gordon and Jim Gordon, nephews, Robert Primmer and Steve Colvin.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCATSER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Travis Dean officiating. Burial to follow in Carroll Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
