Betty Jo Bugh Long 85, a resident of Baltimore, Ohio for over 59 years passed away, Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on May 21, 1926 in Somerset, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rondo Glenn Long, parents, Arthur and Lillian Crosson Bugh, in-laws, Perley and Myrtle Grace Souders Long, sister and brother-in-law, Alma Patricia and Robert Pearson, half-sister, and brother-in-law, Marguerite and Dwight Holmes, half-brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Agnes Miller, sister-in-law, MaryLou Long, brothers-in-law, James long and Robert Long, infant grandchildren, Chad Andrew Landis and Tiana Grace Seifert, son-in-law, Perl Seifert.
Survived by loving children, Judy (Bill Muck) Landis of Baltimore, Ohio, Bob (Mary) Long of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Rhonda (Scott) Bova of Hilliard, Ohio, Randy Long and June Dunkle of Carroll, Ohio, Shelley Seifert of Baltimore, Ohio, Steve (Crystal) Long of Griffin, Georgia and Dennis (Susie) Long of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Chris (Julie) Landis, Craig (Lisa) Landis, Aaron (Toni) Long, Jon-Aric Long, Chanda (Jason) Anderson, Nick Long, Taylor Long, Jarred Long and Braden Long; great-grandchildren, Collin Anderson, Miranda Landis, Morgan Long, Makinah Anderson, Ayden Anderson, Alexander long and Adalyn Anderson; eight step-grandchildren and twenty-two step-great grandchildren; brother, David A. (Judy) Bugh of St. Charles Illinois; sisters-in-law, Donna Long of Zanesville, Ohio and Rosemary Long of Somerset, Ohio; brother-in-law, Elmer Long of Pataskala, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
Betty attended Fairfield Christian Church North Campus Church in Baltimore.
The family wishes to express their deepest thanks to the doctors and staff at Crestview Nursing Home and Fairfield Medical Center for their loving care they have provided Mom during her stays over the past few years.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Thurston United Methodist Church with Rev. David A. Bugh, II officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio. Friends may visit today from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, Ohio 43105 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
