Betty Grimm

Betty J. Grimm 85 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was a member of the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ, American Post 11 Legion Ladies Auxiliary, 1949 graduate of Lancaster High School, and an avid sail boater.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family and friends unconditionally with her whole heart.

She is survived by her son, Marc (Betsy) Grimm of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; grandson, Gregory Alan (Maria) Grimm II; great granddaughter, IkaIka Grimm; step grandchildren, Tonya and Traci; step-great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Brayden, Rayce and Peyten; sister, Elizabeth (Howard) Grimm of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousin, Michelle (Aaron) Hiestand and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil R. Grimm, son, Gregory Alan Grimm, mother, Eva Mae Knotts, father, Charles White, and a brother, Bob Knotts.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Brad Seevers officiating. A private graveside service will be held later. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
