Betty Edwards

Betty A. Edwards, age 92, of Lancaster, Ohio passed into eternal life on October 16, 2012 at the Inn at Fairfield Village.

Betty spent her career teaching third grade at East Elementary School. She was an active member and tireless volunteer of the First United Methodist Church and Fairfield Medical Center Twig 7.

She is survived by son, James (Judith) Edwards, grandchildren, Jennifer (Ryan) Serra and John Edwards, and two great-grandchildren, Charles and Alexander Serra.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-seven years, Lowell O. Edwards and son, David O. Edwards.

Visitation with the family will be 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Monday, October 22, 2012 at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 10:30 am at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home with the Reverend Cheryl Foulk officiating. Graveside Services will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

The family gratefully thanks the staff at the Inn at Fairfield Village for their extraordinary and loving care.
