DIDDLE
BETTY I. DIDDLE age 90 of Lancaster died Saturday September 29, 2012 at her residence. She was a former member of Faith Memorial Church and played guitar with her husband at many revivals through the years. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School class of 1940.
She is survived by her daughter Darlene A. Diddle and her son Joseph A. Diddle both of Lancaster; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Thelma V. Diddle, Lancaster, Wauneta and Clyde Lutz, Lancaster, Ronald F. and Betty Diddle, GA.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Diddle in 2004; parents, Elmer and Florence Spaun; sister Ruth Layberger and brother Bruce Spaun.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 1:30 pm at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Lancaster with Pastor Melvin Truex officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
