Betty Cripps

Betty R. Cripps, age 84, of Baltimore passed away at McCafferty’s assisted living on Sunday July 24th, 2011. She was born in Harrisburg, OH to her parents Harold and Mary Garrison Smith on December 1, 2011. She worked 24 yrs at the Fairfield National Bank as a teller. She was a 50 plus year member of Baltimore Christ United Methodist Church, the VFW auxiliary #3761, and a 50 year member of Yuletide Temple Pythian Sisters of Millersport.
She was survived by her son John I. (Jill) Cripps II of Sugar Grove; daughter, Connie Cripps of Lancaster; and granddaughter, Jenna Marie Cripps of Sugar Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John I. Cripps; brothers, Harold Jr., Byron, Glenn, and C. Duane Smith.
A service will take place on Thursday, July 28th, 2011 at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME at 10:30am officiated by Pastor Alice Wolfe. Family and friends may call from 5 until 8PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials can be made in Betty’s name to either FairHoPe Hospice 282 Sells Rd.
