Betty Brown

Betty C. Brown, age 81, of Lancaster, died Sunday July 22nd, 2012 at the Pickering House. She was born to Samuel and Flossie Chevalier on Dec. 2nd, 1930 in Lancaster, OH. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She was a loving and supportive mother, wife and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Shauna (Brian) Darfus of Canal Winchester; sons, Stephen “Corky” (Carri) Brown of Lancaster and James (Ronda) Brown of Sugargrove; grandchildren, Chasidy (Jeff) Shumaker, Kylie, Ashley, Isaiah, and Kaleb Darfus, Corbin (Mary), Catherine “Cat”, Rachael, Addi, Nathan, Justin, and Derrica Brown; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Alex Pridemore, Maddox Darfus, Austin, Devyn, and Aiden Brown; brother, Richard (Mary) Chevalier of Fort Worth, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. James R. Brown, Son David “Randy” Brown and her parents.
A service will take place at Faith Memorial Church, 2610 W Fair Ave. Lancaster, OH, on Wednesday at 10:30AM, officiated by Pastor Jonathan Morgan. Burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery. Family and Friends may call from 11AM to 1PM and 5PM to 7PM, Tuesday, at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.
