Bertha "Becky" Stiverson

Bertha E. “Becky” Stiverson, 94, of Rockbridge, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

Becky was a lifelong member of Union Church in Rockbridge. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. And she will be remembered as a caring person who never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.

Becky is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Robert) Springer; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Stiverson; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert L. Stiverson; parents, Ross and Sarah Mathias; sons, Jerry and Buddy Gene Stiverson; daughter-in-law, Delores Stiverson; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Union Church, 24765 Buena Vista Rd, Rockbridge, Ohio 43149 with Pastor James Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow in Union Church Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
