Bertha Lupher

Bertha Lupher, age 52, of Lancaster passed away at her place of residence on April 28th, 2021. She was born to the late Jesus and Gloria Zamago Perez on June 7th, 1968 in El Paso, TX. She was a member of the Shalom United Methodist Church of Christ in Carroll OH.  She worked at Meijer in the deli department.  She was a double amputee who was able to participate in a marathon due to her teammate and husband, Damon pushing her along the way.  Bertha will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Bertha is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Damon Lupher; siblings, Chito and Enrique; brother in law, Curtis (Kelly) Lupher; father-in-law, Denis (Maryann) Lupher; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at 10:30 AM located at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N.
