Bernice Swackhamer

Bernice L. Swackhamer, 70, of Lancaster, passed away at the Pickering House on Thursday, May 4, 2017.

Bernice worked for several years at Fairfield Industries. She loved bowling and making jokes. She also enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend, Rick.

Bernice is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Pauline Swackhamer; sister, Betty Scott; and brothers, Harold, Russell, Dale, and Doyle Swackhamer.

A funeral service for Bernice will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 4 to 6 PM Saturday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday in Betheny Cemetery, Amanda.
