Bernard "Hank" Osterhage Jr

Bernard “Hank” Osterhage Jr., age 85, of Lancaster, died September 26th, 2011 at Rockmill Nursing Center. He served in WWII in the Army Air Force as a B-29 tail gunner. He was at Ohio University graduating Phi Beta Kappa and attended Wisconsin Graduate School. With his father and mother Bernard and Lucille Osterhage they founded Hillside Garden Center in 1955 which he managed for 42 years. He is survived by his brother, John (Amy) Osterhage of Green, OH and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Charlotte Ann Elliott. A graveside service will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Wednesday, at 11AM. Arrangements have been made through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.
