Bernadine Reynolds, age 96 of Lancaster was called to her house of glory on January 31, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Henry and Mary Mast Wachter on June 28th, 1924 in Lancaster. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a Girlscout leader and she was the manager of Hallmark. She loved spending time with her family and she was hands down the best at fishing. Bernadine will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her children, Dianna Russell, Brenda (Steven) Blackwell, Barbara (Lonnie) Green, and Jacqueline (Terry) Gardner; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; niece, Sandra Wachter; and leaves behind her beloved fur babies Bella, Buddy, Repo, and JoJo.
Bernadine was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Reynolds, parents, daughter, Catherine “Catsy” Young, brothers, Raymond and William Wachter; sister, Caroline Dickson, sons-in-law, Carl D. Russell and Robert Young.
A funeral service will take place on Friday at 1PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may call 2 hours prior at the funeral home on Friday. Social distancing must be maintained and masks required.
