Bernadette L. Shahan

Bernadette L. Shahan 93 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center.

She was the owner operator of rental properties and storage for over 45 years. She was a member of the Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church, Millersport Order of Eastern Star, she organized Girl Scout Troops, enjoyed playing golf, rolling skating, sewing, baking, gardening, and keeping the family together.

Bernadette is survived by her daughters, Charletta Shahan of Lancaster, Ohio and Patricia (Charles) Bosse of Millersport, Ohio; grandchildren, Jodi Wright, Tami (Darren) Bruns, Philip Winegardner, Amanda (Steve) Medve, Shawna (MacKenzie) Davis, Brent Bosse, and Nathan (Emily) Shahan; ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; sister, Gwendolyn Miller of Florida; sister-in-law, Gwen Shahan of Lancaster, Ohio several nieces and nephews, and good friend, Dixie Clum of Thurston, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Shahan, son, Ronald Shahan, parents, Burdett and Shirley Abram, sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda (Harold) Houston, Kathryn (Ralph) Garrett, Phyllis (John) Canfield and Bill Miller.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Rick Birk officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio.  Friends may visit 2 hours prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
