Benjamin Seckerson

Benjamin F. Seckerson, age 80 of Carroll, died on Oct 09, 2015 at Mt. Carmel West. He was born in Columbus on Jan 16, 1935 to the late Benjamin F. and Veronica Kovach Seckerson, Sr. He retired as a Mill Wright for Lucent. He proudly served in the NAVY. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Ben was a man of many talents. He loved baking and woodworking. He built his own home, and loved spending time with his family.
Ben is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Seckerson; daughter, Brenda Seckerson; son, Todd (Belinda) Seckerson; grandson, Coby (Hayley) Kellogg; brother, Thomas (Mary) Seckerson; sisters, Veronica (Stefan) Kraeutner and Elizabeth Seckerson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Catherine Dick and Pauline Nonnemacher; and brother, Carl Seckerson.
A funeral service will take place at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, on Tuesday at 10:30AM. A Veteran burial detail will follow the service at Franklin Hills Cemetery.
