Becky L. Chilcote

Becky L. Chilcote, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Kobacker House. She was born on Friday, June 28, 1957, to the late Hugh Albert and Patricia Sue (Bowman) Chilcote. 

Becky attended Lancaster High School and graduated in 1975. She enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, and bridge. Becky had many special friends and she loved spending time with them and her family. She enjoyed attending sporting events for her great nieces; watching Ava in cheerleading and Zoey in softball. Becky had a great love for penguins. She lived at the Madison House in London, Ohio for 7 years. She loved her time there and created many great friendships.

Becky is survived by her brother, Hughie “Bud” (Lisa) Chilcote II; niece, Kelly (Aaron) Rodgers; great nieces, Ava and Zoey Rodgers; uncles, John (Marylou) Bowman and Jerry (Roberta) Bowman as well as numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Sue Chilcote, and an infant sibling, Katrina Chilcote. 

The family would like to thank the staff at the Kobacker House for the love and care they gave to Becky during her time there.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at noon at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Mark Linn officiating. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow the funeral service at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus OH 43214.
