Beckham Ellis Brett Dean of Lancaster, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Our baby’s soul, only here for two years, in that short time, he changed the core of everyone he knew. Beckham was just too special to be with us forever. It was time for his soul to fly free, inspire and grow.
His happy times were spent eating, golfing, playing, dinosaurs with his sister and fighting monsters with his guns. But most of all he loved giving his love.
Our heart aches with joy that we were able to spend the time we had with our baby boy. We take comfort in knowing his beautiful soul is going to go where it needs to grow. His journey has just begun. We would rather be broken today to have to not have gotten the chance to know our boy.
He is survived by his loving parents Caitlin and Brett Dean; sisters Asher Dean and Kyla Primmer; grandparents Rebecca and Gary Hughes and Amy and Rick Dean; aunts and uncles Billy DeMastry, Jon DeMastry, Andy Brannon, Gary Hughes, Lacy DeMastry, Sarah Davis, Crystal Brannon, Nicole Kolikohn and Mark Kolikohn; cousins Leo, Lexi and Bryleigh DeMastry, Bryce Underwood, Lydia, Landon and Connor Godenschwager and Levi Davis.
Beckham was preceded in death by his grandfather Leo DeMastry.
