Beatrice "Bea" Burnett

Beatrice “Bea” Burnett 79 of Rushville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Fayetteville, WV to the late Oscar and Margaretta Cline on April 3, 1937. She was a registered nurse and loved to play bingo and the casinos.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Margaret ‘Maggie” (Randy) Waugh of Summerville, SC; son, David Burnett of Rushville, Ohio; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Hambrick of Columbus, Ohio and Tilly (Ralph) Fetherolf of FL and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Burnett, son, Larry Burnett, parents, brother, Richard Cline and sister, Judith Gwilym.

Funeral service will be held Monday, October 3, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Chaplain Linda Ward officiating. Burial will follow in W. Rushville Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
