Beatrice S. Boggs

Beatrice S. Boggs 98 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at Crestview Manor Nursing Center.  She was born on September 26, 1920 in Kentucky to the late Lonnie and Fannie Steele.  She was a retired switch board operator for National Electric Coil and liked the Christmas season by decorating for the season, enjoyed collectables and big on her family.

Beatrice is survived by her grandchildren, Cheyenne (Jamie) Boggs of Lancaster, Ohio and Ammie (David) Zitello of Centerburg, Ohio; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Maclees, Alexis Boggs and Zane Boggs; sister, Ina Kerston of Arizona; nieces and nephews, Oneida Suttle, Samuel Steele, Darlene Dugan, Dean Steele, David Steele, Laurie Termeer, and Linda Corrova and great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Proctor Boggs, son, David Boggs, parents, sister, Oneida Barrett, and brothers, Dwight and Samuel Steele.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Oho with Chaplain Karl Hartmann officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
