Barton Hart

Barton “Dale” Hart, age 59, of Lancaster passed away at his residence on April 25th, 2014. He was born to Robert and Alice Boyer Hart in Ross County on April 7th, 1955. He retired from Corna / Kokosing. Dale was an avid fisherman who was a faithful Saturday night poker player. Always the jokester, Dale loved people, and had an amazing personality. He enjoyed going to various yard sales buying obscure items. Dale loved his family.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Becky Hart; children, Craig (Brandy Fletcher) Hart, Barton Daniel Hart, Brandy (Dan Smart) Hart, all of Lancaster; twelve grandchildren; sisters, Linda Schmidt, Kathy McNichols, Sue Harper, and Nancy Burns; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews; and four legged friend “Syd”. The family would like to give a special thanks to family friend Levie.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Tommy and David Hart.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 10:30AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Caring Cremation ® will follow the service.
