Barbara Lee Beougher, 76, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023 at The Ridge. She was born to the late Russell and Edith Dick on January 1, 1947 in Hamlin, WV.
Barbara worked for 20 years at Main Street Terrace. Whenever she would see a friend, old or new, she would smile and always made sure to tell them she loved them. She was a member of Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church, and enjoyed her time with the Lost Hollow Campground Singing Group. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling to watch gospel revivals. Barbara had an amazing faith and was full of love.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Fred Beougher; children, David (Jodi Horn) Kemmerling; Tracy (Anthony) Kochur; Joseph Kemmerling; and Jason Kemmerling; many grandchildren including her “Forever All Stars”, Abby and Cody; brother, Steve Dick Sr., and special friends, Dottie, Bonnie, Herman and Rev. ‘Debo.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Walker; and her parents.
A funeral service officiated by Rev. Dr. ‘Debo Onabanjo will take place at 1 PM on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church, 1004 West Sixth Ave, Lancaster, OH 43130.
