Barbara Ann Johnston

Barbara Ann Johnston passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Primrose Memory Care in Lancaster, OH.

She is survived by her children, David Johnston, Bill Johnston, and Lynn Curry; grandchildren, Ian Curry, Jake Curry Melissa Paletino, and Ryan Johnston; great grandchildren, Ava Palentino and Ella Palentino. She is preceded in death by her son, Todd Johnston, who passed away in 2007 after a battle with cancer.

Barbara was born in 1931 to Mary and Hal Williams in Burney, Decatur County, Indiana. She grew up in Burney with her brother, Hal Williams, and graduated from Burney High School. After graduating from high school, she went on to get her nursing degree from Deaconess Hospital Nursing school in Cincinnati, Ohio! She was a nurse at Fairfield Medical Center and was loved and respected by her peers. She loved being a nurse and was very passionate about it.

Barbara was loving, kind and giving person who loved her family deeply. She loved birds and nature. She will be greatly missed and her memories will be cherished forever.
