Barbara A. Sanders

Barbara A. Sanders, 81, of Lancaster went to her eternal home on February 26, 2024. Born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio, Barbara retired from Anchor Hocking and Kroger. 

She loved spending time with family, watching the Crew soccer and Ohio State football games, going to the Columbus Zoo, and receiving/giving hugs from her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. 

Barbara attended The Tree Church and was a member of The Salvation Army Church for several years. She was proud to have several members of the family who are pastors in The Salvation Army.

Barbara is survived by her daughters Patty (Jeff) Cox of St. Paul, MN, Debbie (Jeff) Stacy of Springfield, OH, Dianna (Mike) Morales of Findlay, OH, and Barbara (Aaron) Moore Kinser of Lancaster, OH; son Michael Sanders of MS; 5 step children; sister Phyllis Olgesbee of Lancaster, OH; brother Kevin Snyder of Columbus, OH; along with many grandchildren, step grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Margaret Snyder; husband Samuel Sanders; brother Kenneth Snyder; and infant son Scotty Bowman.

A celebration of life will be held March 16, 2024 at 2pm at The Salvation Army, 228 W. Hubert Ave, Lancaster, OH. Grandsons Captain Matthew Stacy and Captain Joshua Morales will be officiating.
