Barbara Reese

Biography

Barbara Ann Reese, age 79 of Lancaster died Monday January 2, 2012, at home after a brief illness. She was a member of the Sponagle Trinity Lutheran Church, Sugar Grove and was a 1950 graduate of Logan High School.

She is survived by son, William R. Reese, Pickerington; daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Deborah) Moskonas, Canal Winchester and Mrs. Jeff (Ann) Stoneburner, Amanda; grandchildren, Allison Campbell, Aaron Reese, Addy Reese, Michelle Moskonas, Ryan Stoneburner, Jessica Stoneburner, and Jennifer Stoneburner; great grandchild, Ava Campbell; sisters, Mrs. Donald (Linda) Rayburn, Rushville, Mrs. Larry (Ruth) McCormick, Sugar Grove, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Croft, Sugar Grove and Mrs. Steve (Jan) Shaw, Amanda; brothers, Don, Charles, Kenny, John, Jim and Bob Roley; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Reese; daughter, Sandra Fae Resse; son, Joseph Carl Reese; parents, Don E. and Ruth E. Roley; and sister, Gladys Kennedy.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 am at the Sponagle Trinity Lutheran Church, 7120 Sponagle Road, Sugar Grove, OH 43155 with Pastor Danny Koch officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster and Friday 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Sponagle Trinity Lutheran Church in Barbara’s memory.
