Barbara C. DiPietro 82 of Lancaster, Ohio former 27 year resident of Harvard, Massachusetts died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Pickering House.
She was a graduate of Bromfield High School, a retired realtor and initiated a pet therapy program in Lancaster, Baltimore and West Rushville, Ohio. She loved animals and nature.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Linda Roderick of Lancaster, Ohio and Carol DiPietro of Plymouth, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Benjamin Roderick and Lauren Roderick both of Lancaster, Ohio; sister, Diana Wetherell of Circleville, Ohio; niece, Robin Saum and four other nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DiPietro, parents John D. and Julia B. Henry Johnson and sister, Jacquelyn Johnson.
Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be given to Humane Society, PO Box 1109, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 in her memory.
