Barbara Braniff

Barbara Ann (Barnes) Braniff, age 70, of Lancaster went to be with the Lord on April 7th, 2017 at the Pickering House, surrounded by her family and friends. She was the first child born to the late Russell and Iantha Barr Barnes in Lancaster, on April 3rd, 1947. She was a 1965 LHS Graduate. Barbara loved to crochet, cook, and spend time with her family. She loved animals, especially her cats. Barbara was a devoted mother and care giver to her only son Scott.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Scott, her sister and best friend, Linda (Tim) Dufner; brother, Roger (Linda) Barnes; nephew, David Dufner, niece, Amy Walker; great nephew, Ryan Walker and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Caring Cremation ®has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A private family graveside service, officiated by Pastor Chris Hillenbrand will take place at a later date. A celebration of Life Service will also be at a later date, upon Barbra’s request. Memorials can be made in Barbara’s name to the Pickering House 282 Sells rd. Lancaster, OH 43130.
