Barbara Bainter

Barbra L. Bainter, age 78, of Lancaster, passed away, November 30th, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born in Lancaster on September, 29th, 1937 to the late Obe and Daisy Grandstaff Smith. She retired as a receptionist for Dr. Snider. Barbara was a member of the First United Methodist Church who loved gardening. She dedicated her life to raising her son and was an amazing person who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Robert D. Bainter; sister, Clara Jean Cruit; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and special great nephew Joshua Anders. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert L. Bainter; brothers, Lawrence “Abe”, Henry, and Obe Smith; sisters, Anna McCain, and Betty Blosser; and In-Laws, Charles and Faye Bainter. Caring Cremation™ has taken place through the FRANK E.
