B. Joan Landis

B. Joan Landis, age 89 of Baltimore, died on August 22nd, 2017 at LanFair Rehabilitation. She was born to the late Don and Floe Gurile Wolfe, on October 30th, 1927 in Thurston. She along with her husband Dale were owners and operators of the Paper Mill Restaurant in Baltimore. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and enjoyed her flower garden and working. Joan will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Dale Landis; children, Steve (Nancy Weidman) Landis and Pam (Jack) Johnson; grandchildren, Matt Hanes, Mark (Lisa) Johnson; step-grandchild, Denise Tilley; eight great-grandchildren; and a multitude of Nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, L. Jane Clum.

A funeral service will take place at 10AM on Saturday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Rev. Alice Wolfe. Interment will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Garden's mausoleum following the service. Family and friends may call from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home on Friday.
