B. Ruth Anderson, 82, of Lancaster, passed away on December 11, 2014 surrounded by family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Ruth is survived by her children, Mark (Jenni) Anderson, of Bremen, and Cheryl (Lon) Rhoades, of Springfield; five grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Stella Farley; husband, James Anderson; and two brothers and one sister.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15, at 6 p.m. at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home located at 405 N. Columbus St. in Lancaster with Jeff Graf officiating. Caring Cremation has taken place with the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Arthritis Foundation at 3740 Ridge Mill Drive, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 and to FairHoPe Hospice at 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
