Annie M. McFee, age 86, of Lancaster, formerly of Baltimore, died May 8th, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born May 2nd, 1929 in Bonnieville, KY to the late, James and Dora "Butler" Stanton. She was an LPN who worked for Fairfield Medical Center before becoming a private duty nurse working for families around the area. Annie's true passion was her love of animals. She was a former volunteer with the Humane Society, fostering dogs, cats and abandoned newborn kittens, puppies, and bunnies.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Angie (Brad) Bodamer; son, Jim (Barb) Ward all of Lancaster; step-daughter, Rosa Clark, of Fairfield Beach; step-son, John (Maxine) Ward of FL; grandchildren, Craig (Christy) George, Ben (Jessica) Bodamer, Chad Ward, Stacey (John) Beck, and Lindsey (Mark) Hockman; step-grandson, Grant Bodamer (Julie Smart); eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; close friends Keith (Opal) Kistler of Lancaster and Grace (Charles) Murry of WV; and special pets, Lance and Hitler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, four sisters; husbands, John Ward, William Cooper, and William McFee; step son-in-law, Howard Clark; and granddaughter-in-law, Becky Ward.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Main Street Terrace, Mid-Ohio Ambulance Service, and the Fairfield Kidney Center for adding a little brightness to Annie's day.
Honoring Annie's request there will be no visitation or service. Caring Cremation has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME and interment will take place at Concord Cemetery in Bonnieville, Ky. Memorials can be made in Annies name to The Pickering House 282, Sells Rd.
