Andrew Hayes Keller, 17 months, of Granville, passed away on Saturday, May 4th, 2013, at his home, surrounded by the love of his family.
Andrew was born to his loving parents, Nicholas and Amanda, on November 21, 2011. Soon it was discovered that everything was not well and Andrew was diagnosed with many things he would struggle with; Semilobar holoprosencephaly, West syndrome, Diabetes insipidus, and hydrocephalus. Despite his diagnosis Andrew fought a courageous battle every day, always with a bright smile on his face. Along the way he touched the hearts of countless people.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Nicholas and Amanda Keller; grandparents, Dennis R. and Melissa Keller, Mimi Lynn Keller, and Mark and Rebecca Bolin; great grandparents, Lester and Maryland Keller, Walt and Peggy Kidd, and Jack and Peggy Combs; aunts and uncles, Matthew Keller, Erica and Justin Brown, Christina and Dustin Little, Eric Hansley, Nathan and Heather Bates, and Sarah and Wyatt Borah; cousins, Jackson, Jacob, and Ella Brown, Bradley Bolin, and Luke, Levi, and Noelle Little; and many great aunts and uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
Andrew was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Floyd and Geneva McDaniel and Emmalene and William Bolin.
Funeral service for Andrew will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8th, 2013, at Gloryland Church of the Nazarene, 3570 Coonpath Rd, Carroll, OH 43112, with Pastor Mark Clingan officiating. Family and friends may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Caring Cremation will follow with the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore.
Andrews family had a long journey from day one and Childrens Hospital wrapped their loving arms around them and did everything they possibly could to help Andrew. His family is eternally grateful to them.
In lieu flowers, donations can be made in memory of Andrew to the Nationwide Childrens Hospital Foundation, PO Box 16810, Columbus, OH 43216 to help other children receive the care that Andrew did.
