Allan Dale Beatty, 50 years old, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 8, 2016.
Friend to many, he was raised in Lancaster, Ohio and moved to Columbus. He was a know fixture in the Short North Area. Co-Owner of the Short North Floral Shop. He was taken away before his time.
Anyone who ever knew Allan found him to be loving, funny, goofy, and a compassionate guy who loved living life to the fullest. He rescued 2 dogs, Marley and Milo, whom he loved with all his heart and soul. He had a smile that lit up the skies and a laugh that was so contagious. He went out of his way to help people in need, rescuing animals, and donating his time to Animal Shelters.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Betty Jo and William Mason; sister, Amy; brother, Andy; grandmother, Eva Hanley; several nieces and nephews; and of course his fur babies, Marley and Milo.
Preceded in death by his father, Edwin Beatty; and grandparents, Pearl and Beatrice Beatty and Robert Hanley.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Lancaster Methodist Campground, 2151 W. Fair Ave, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 on Friday, December 16th at 11:00 AM. Caring Cremation has taken place with Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.
