Albert "Gene" Ford

Albert “Gene” Ford age 84 of Carroll, Ohio passed away June 28, 2023.  Gene was born May 16, 1939 to the late William and Rheada (Whittington) Ford.  Gene was a Senior Master Sargent in the Ohio Air National Guard. He retired after serving 35 years in the 121st tacticle fighter wing of the Ohio Air National Guard, stationed at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base.  He served during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Kunsan, South Korea.  After his military retirement Gene worked as a part time security guard for Diamond Power in Lancaster, Ohio.  He enjoyed spending his time in Florida and Ohio with his wife Peggy and his dogs Katie and Molly.

Gene is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Ford; daughter, Tanja (Rob) Lemieux; son Ty Ford; granddaughter, Sara Lemieux; step-grandchildren, Samantha (Seth) Faulkner and Stephen (Casey) Lemieux and their children; brothers, Robert (Jan) Ford, Steven Ford, Roger (Cathy) Ford; and sister, Brenda (Chuck) Vesserly; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Kay (Carl) Shover.

Caring Cremation ™ has taken place through the Frank E.
