Alan Hughes Hale, age 80 of Black Canyon, Arizona formerly of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
He was a son, brother, friend, husband, dad, papa and great grandpa. He was strong, stubborn, kind, hardworking and wonderful. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his partner Matilda (Tillie Bowers McCarty), children Lori (Matt) Riggle, Nathan (Molly) Hale, Brooke Loraditch and Nikki (Darrin) Flick, grandchildren Hailee Richards, Meredith ”Mosey” Leohner, Isak Holt, Allison Hale, Chase and Kylie Loraditch, Cody (Krista) and Katie Flick; great-grandchildren Caisee and Lilly Darst, Cylis, Coen and Cora Flick, brothers and sisters, Mark (Jan) Hale, Roger Hale, Jon (Michelle) Hale, Carol (Marcus) Rector and Linda (Ed) Kilbarger, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Elizabeth Hale, his first wife and mother of his children Marianne Judith (Judy Russell) and wife Marjorie (Margie Case) Hale.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at The First United Methodist Church, Lancaster Ohio.
The family would like to thank special friend Colleen Rand and the staff of Honor Health Sonoma Crossing ICU for your care and compassion during these past weeks.
