Agnes Lucille Graff Rose 86 of Thornville, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on June 7, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio and a graduate of Sunbury High School.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul Rose, parents, Emery and Agnes Stromberg Graff, sisters, Melvina Hilliand and Alverda McDannald and brother, Lionel Graff.
She is survived by her two children, Timothy Miller of Thornville, Ohio and Trina Cagg and her husband Wayne of Baltimore, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Zachary Cagg of Baltimore, Ohio and Abigail Cagg of Grove City, Ohio and Stacey Hysell of Thurston, Ohio; great grandson, Jacob Hysell; great granddaughter, Faith Hysell; two sisters, Lue Murphy of Venice, Florida and Christy Parsons and her husband Herb of Marengo, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
Agnes was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church of Thurston, Ohio and past member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church of Liberty, Kentucky, first Baptist Church of Sunbury, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Baptist Church, 7991 Old Millersport Rd. (Old Millersport Rd. & Rt. 256), Thurston, Ohio 43157 with Pastor Marvin Beculhimer officiating. Caring Cremation® has taken place by the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, 207 S. MAIN ST. BALTIMORE, OH 43105.
