Agnes Bowen

Agnes Bowen, age 72, of Carroll went to be with her Lord on Mother’s day May 8th, 2011 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was a member of the Bloom Baptist Church in Lithopolis. She was born to her parents, in Pike County, KY on Oct. 12, 1938.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Todd (Sarah Barnes) Bowen of Carroll; granddaughters, Katie Barnes of Lancaster and Jessica Barnes of Carroll; sister, Lois (Fred) Weaver of Creola, brothers, Ray (Phillis) Vanover of McArthur, Vernon Ewing (Joy) Vanover of MI, Guy (Molly) Vanover and Gene (Diane) Vanover both of McArthur; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Delphia Greer Vanover.
Services will be held on Friday May 13th, 2011 at 11AM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home in Lancaster, officiated by Reverend Mike O’ Bryant. Burial will follow the services at Union Grove Cemetery in Canal Winchester. Family and friends may call from 9AM until 11AM on Friday.
