Virginia "Ginny" Thompson

Virginia “Ginny” Thompson, of Baltimore, Ohio and formerly of Dublin, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019.  Ginny was born in 1940 to Ed and Virgie Henry in Columbus, Ohio.   She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.  Ginny is a retired postmaster having served the Dublin, Thurston and Brice post offices.

Ginny is survived by her husband Ken “Fuzz” Thompson of Baltimore, son, Ken (Mary), daughter, Robin (Kevin) Hall, grandchildren, Megan (Rob) Hill, Erin (Stephen) Brown, Rob (Arielle), Brad (Denise Hagle), Doug (Shannon) and Kristen, great grandchildren: Logan, Avery and Brynn Kamerer; Emerson Hill; Lilly Thompson; Violet Brown and Zoey Thompson, sister, Marge (Bud), brother, John (Rose), brother, Jim (Lois) and many nieces, nephews and friends.  Ginny is predeceased by her parents, her son, Chuckie and 9 siblings.

Caring cremation by Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore.  The family will greet friends and family on Saturday March 9 from 3:30-5:30 PM at Thurston United Methodist Church, 2015 Main Street, Thurston, Ohio followed by a Celebration of Ginny’s life at 5:30 PM at the church.
