Michael "Mike" D. Jolly

Michael “Mike” D. Jolly, 60 of Lancaster Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at OSU Medical Center. He was born March 11, 1963, to Lloyd and Sonja (Matz) Jolly.

Mike graduated high school and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was very proud to be a Marine. Mike was an electronic technician for Fairfield Vending. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking and was a very avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan. Mike was also a pyrotechnician, he loved being able to put on a great firework display.

Mike is survived by his children, Jessica (Bradd) Bostick, Jeanetta Dickson, and Jenessa (Andrew) Blosser; grandchildren, Brayden, Bentlee, Braxyn, Caleb, and 3 granddaughters; brother, Matthew (Emma) Jolly; numerous nieces and a nephew; and a best friend, Jamie Fernow.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mark A. Jolly.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 12:00 PM at River Valley Life Center, 2190 Coonpath Road, Lancaster Ohio with Pastor Paul Bishop officiating. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service. Per Mike’s wishes, Caring Cremation® will take place.
